Ability to manage the complete recruitment process from the securing of job specifications, identification (and registration of candidates) and the control of the sale to its conclusion.
New business attitude. Despite having a very well established client base within Howard Jackson, the consultant will often be required to identify new line managers.
A competent networker using all knowledge, media and expertise at their disposal. In particular, must have a very strong presence on LinkedIn (albeit the existing network may not all be relevant to the European IT Sales arena). Reviewing their profile will make up part of the selection process.
Commutable to the either the Northern or Midlands offices of Howard Jackson (Sale, M33 7BZ or Coleshill, B46 1JA).
A second (European) language would be an advantage but not essential.
Job Description :
Working from either the Manchester or Coleshill office of Howard Jackson but expected to travel to other HJ locations, UK and Europe-wide (when required).
Identifying and securing job specifications from IT companies with a need for European sales professionals anywhere from new business through to senior executive level. *European is recognised as anything outside of the UK.
Identifying, registering and managing candidates who are European IT sales professionals. This will be made up of ‘active’ candidates being the contingency element of the role and ‘head-hunt’ for specific search assignments.
Develop and manage an extensive network of candidates and clients that would be managed through the company CRM system.
Cross-selling the additional services of the HJ Group. Working closely with the internal teams to identify additional revenue streams and further consolidate relationships with clients with a view to providing a complete recruitment solution.
Creation of a ‘scalable’ model that can allow the division to grow and ultimately create a route to management for the successful candidate.

This role will be primarily generating new business but can also develop business from existing accounts. Our client is a leading European Data centre services provider specializing in Co-Location and Managed services with data centers across Europe. Due to substantial success and growth we are now working with them to recruit sales people across a number of verticals. They are looking for a new business sales executive who has experience in selling into the digital marketing vertical. As an addition to the vertical you will ideally have experience within either the data centre environment or Managed services. While you must possess the new business sales skills you will also need tenacity and energy. Our client is also keen on recruiting individuals who understand how to sell on a consultative basis as they have a keen desire to move away from the sale being seen as a commodity deal. Strong communication and written skills will also need to be demonstrated.
