Person profile:
Must have experience of European recruitment (any sector but ideally sales). This could be UK based companies recruiting on the continent or the placement of European nationals within their own country / region.
Ability to manage the complete recruitment process from the securing of job specifications, identification (and registration of candidates) and the control of the sale to its conclusion.
New business attitude. Despite having a very well established client base within Howard Jackson, the consultant will often be required to identify new line managers.
A competent networker using all knowledge, media and expertise at their disposal. In particular, must have a very strong presence on LinkedIn (albeit the existing network may not all be relevant to the European IT Sales arena). Reviewing their profile will make up part of the selection process.
Commutable to the either the Northern or Midlands offices of Howard Jackson (Sale, M33 7BZ or Coleshill, B46 1JA).
A second (European) language would be an advantage but not essential.
Job Description:
Working from either the Manchester or Coleshill office of Howard Jackson but expected to travel to other HJ locations, UK and Europe-wide (when required).
Identifying and securing job specifications from IT companies with a need for European sales professionals anywhere from new business through to senior executive level. *European is recognised as anything outside of the UK.
Identifying, registering and managing candidates who are European IT sales professionals. This will be made up of active' candidates being the contingency element of the role and head-hunt' for specific search assignments.
Develop and manage an extensive network of candidates and clients that would be managed through the company CRM system.
Cross-selling the additional services of the HJ Group. Working closely with the internal teams to identify additional revenue streams and further consolidate relationships with clients with a view to providing a complete recruitment solution.
Creation of a scalable' model that can allow the division to grow and ultimately create a route to management for the successful candidate.
